Happy Birthday, Jardin!

Here we are, playing "Resident Evil 4" and enjoying a delicious chocolate cake in your honor.   When he learned about our plans, Gus decided to make a cameo.

Thanks so much to you & your mom for visiting last month.  You are decent, kind, and intelligent (we gush), and we are proud to call you nephew.

Birthday cake! Mmmmm...

In no time at all...

...it was gone. We toasted you with every bite!

Happy 4th Birthday, Caiden!

Someone delightfully special has a birthday today!

Is it you?
Is it me?

Was that as much fun for you as it was for us and the pups? We hope so.

To commemorate the day, here are some photos of your Colorado birthday party:

The very tasty cake...

Cousin Gus...

Cousin Elliott, doing what dogs, especially boy dogs, like to do...

Cousin Sabaka (or Saachi)...

Cousin Jasper...

...and us, your aunts, one of whom had no idea how much fun could be had in a pirate hat! (Soon-to-be 19-year-old boys (Monkey Boys) shouldn't be surprised if it makes a cameo in a b'day video ca. mid-September.)

We hope you have a great day, Caiden, and that this year brings lots of love, happiness and -- finally! -- a visit from us your way.
